It rains often in Reefton, but seldom snows. So we leapt at the opportunity to create a gin which captures the fresh, native aromas of our rainforest's snow-laden canopy after one of these rare occurrences. Locally collected pristine snow, Manuka, alpine lavender, lime and a hint of peppermint combine for a refreshingly unique spirit. After a two year mission to forage the NZ landscape for aromatic native plants that best compliment a classic dry gin, Chris and Stu settled on Kawakawa, Horopito and Manuka, making it a quintessentially NZ gin.
