Crafted from vineyards in Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale, this is a fragrant, classically styled Cabernet bursting with aromas of cassis, blackberry and subtle bay leaf, layered with mocha oak, black olive and dried plum. The palate is elegant and velvety, delivering concentrated dark fruit supported by long, textural tannins, superb balance and impressive length.

A soft and gently rounded palate with ample rich fruits smoothly laced with bucolic tannins and framed by a keen keel of stirring acidity. Plums and blackberries return along with hints of milk chocolate. The giving blackberry and plum fruit is perfectly counter-weighted by the strangely reassuring gruffness of the tannins.

Full bodied an opulent with black plum, red berry fruit and dark chocolate flavours. The palate has smooth tannins and a long finish.

On the palate the wine is medium bodied with an impression of sweet fruit and long finish driven by silky tannins and texture. Well matched to a wide range of game and red meat dishes.
